A former member of Top 60s recording group FREDDIE & THE DREAMERS, Mike has all
the knowledge and credentials to put on a top 60s Tribute show,
Mike a 60s fan himself, listens to music from the golden era, constantly looking
to recreate that authentic sound in his own show
Mike Quinn was Bass guitarist & sang backing vocals with Freddie Garrity up to 2001 also
worked alongside many well known 60s groups like, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Troggs, Searchers, Fortunes, Wayne
Fontana, Peter Noone, Dave Berry, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Merseybeats, The Tremelos, Billy J Kramer, Brian Poole, plus
many more on tours as a "DREAMER"
Sadly Freddie was told by his Doctor to hand up his show boots
and retire from show-business in this year, the band dissolved & Mike Quinn has been Entertaining with his own show for 10
years as a solo entertainer, Mike is very much in demand for 60s weekends and themed shows
Mike keeps the memories of the 60s alive singing most
of Freddie's' hits, plus many more from groups like Herman's Hermits, The Searchers, The Hollies, Billy
Fury, Bobby Vee and all those other popular 60s groups & artists who made the top 20 all those years
ago.
Mike
never keeps still on stage and has so much energy jumping and leaping about in the air as Freddie
did all those years ago. Its worth going to a show just to see him fall off stage every once in a while as he gets that
carried away with the antics.
His show is a must to see! You certainly won't be disappointed if you love the sound of the 60s.
